Transport modeling of tram tracks on Akademika Sakharova Avenue in Moscow
Our company has completed research and transport modeling of tram lines, which are planned on Akademika Sakharova Avenue in Moscow. The new tram line should connect the Chistye Prudy metro station with the Three Stations (Yaroslavsky, Kazansky, Leningradsky).
The work took place in several stages and lasted almost a year. At the first stage, data on the existing car load and existing public transport routes were collected, points of attraction were analyzed, which will form the demand for the tram in this direction.
Further, macro- and micro-modeling of project proposals was carried out, which showed the necessity and possibility of constructing a tram line on this route. The simulation made it possible to accurately determine the most convenient traffic light modes, the best location of tram stop islands, and the interval between routes.
